Ladies Verse-by-verse Bible Study - 1 Kings 17-19
Monday evenings, 7:00–9:00 pm. Weekly, June 5 through August 21. Meeting at the church
Ladies, God has given us His word so that we can know Him and, as a result, we can worship Him and grow in His grace to be more Christ-like.
This summer 2023, we are considering 1 Kings chapters 17 through 19, the story of Elijah, working through it verse by verse, using various translations of the text, cross-references, our personal insights, and commentaries.
Our goals are:
1. To study the Bible, looking for what it teaches about the character and purposes of God.
2. To see, in view of who God is, who we are and what He wants of us.
3. To let the study of God captivate our minds to transform our hearts.
4. To teach us how to better study scripture in depth on our own or in another group.
